On July 4, 2022, the ballastless track construction of the newly built Fuzhou-Xiamen High-speed Railway Quanzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge, undertaken by the Second Aviation Administration of China Communications Construction Company, was completed.

The newly built Fuzhou-Xiamen high-speed railway is located in the coastal area of Fujian, starting from Fuzhou in the north and reaching Xiamen and Zhangzhou in the south. The main line is 277 kilometers long and has a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Among them, the Quanzhou Bay Sea-crossing Bridge is a key control project of the whole line.
