Three major transportation projects

The expansion project of the Leiyang to Yizhang section of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway: The project starts from the large city of Leiyang and goes south through 5 counties and cities including Leiyang, Yongxing, Suxian, Beihu and Yizhang, and ends at Yizhang Xiaotang ( Hunan-Guangdong Provincial Boundary), which is connected to the northern section of Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. The total length of the route is 144.9 kilometers, and the old road is renovated and expanded using the standard of two-way eight-lane expressway. Among them, the design speed of the connecting section from the starting point to Wulipai is 120 km/h, the width of the roadbed is 41.5 meters, and the design speed of the connecting section from Wulipai to the end is 100 km/h, and the width of the roadbed is 41 meters. The project is the first four-to-eight highway reconstruction and expansion project in Hunan. The construction period is three years and it is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2025.

G60 Shanghai-Kunming Expressway Jinyushi (Hunan-Jiangxi border) to Liling section expansion project: The route starts from Jinyushi (Hunan-Jiangxi border), connects with the Jiangxi section of Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, goes westward along the Lushui River, and ends at Liling Changqing Demonstration Area Double Hekou Village connects the Liling to Loudi section of the Shanghai-Kunming Expressway, with a total length of about 7.1 kilometers. A total of 1 interchange of Liling East (hub) and 1 Jinyushi service area are set up on the whole line. The main line of the project adopts the standard construction of a two-way eight-lane expressway with a design speed of 100 km/h.

Yuanshui Hongjiang to Chenxi waterway project: the total investment is 1.713 billion yuan, and the construction period is 36 months. node. The project will renovate 180 kilometers of the 750-meter waterway downstream of the Wushui estuary in Yuanshui Hongjiang City to the Dawutan hub in Chenxi County according to the 500-ton standard, and rebuild the ship lock of the Hongjiang hub according to the 1,000-ton standard. The entire channel is equipped with first-class navigation marks. 7 waterway stations including Hongjiang, Anjiang, Tongwan, Qingshuitang, Dajiangkou, Chenxi, 2 anchorage management areas including Qiancheng and Chenxi, Huaihua City, Hongjiang City, Hongjiang District, Zhongfang County, Xupu County, Chenxi County, etc. 6 water transportation center facilities.

According to Zhao Ping, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Hunan Provincial Department of Transportation, the total investment of the three projects started this time reached 24.6 billion yuan.
