On October 28, 2022, the Beijing Construction Engineering Information Network released the bidding announcement for the construction of the station front and four electricity bid sections of the new Chengdu Chongqing Middle Line Railway in Sichuan. The project belongs to the industry railway, and the tenderee is Yangtze River Railway Group Sichuan Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 25.847 billion yuan.

Project overview

The Sichuan section of the newly-built Chengdu Chongqing Middle Line starts from the Sichuan Chongqing provincial boundary and ends at Chengdu Railway Terminal, Chengdu Station. The main line is 188.617km long. 140 bridges with a length of 118.591km and 27 tunnels with a length of 38.368km; The total length of bridges and tunnels is 156.959km, and the proportion of bridges and tunnels is 83.22%; Three new stations will be built on the main line, including Anyue Station, Lezhi Station and Jianzhou Station, and one existing station will be introduced to Chengdu Station; One Shiling South Station will be built in the ordinary speed relocation project of Chengdu Terminal, and the supporting rolling stock facilities will be built. The designed driving speed is 350 km/h, and a comprehensive test section will be built from the provincial boundary to Jianzhou.

CYZXZQ-2, the quantities are: 0.718km subgrade, 3 bridges/14.757km, 391 prefabricated box girders, 1.5 tunnels/6.345km.
