On December 26, 2022, the commencement ceremony of the Yaoning New Energy Power Battery Project under Geely was held in Tangshan, Hebei Province. It is understood that the total investment of Yaoning Technology Tangshan Project is about 15.5 billion yuan, which will be constructed in two phases. The total capacity of the first phase of the project is planned to be 12GWh single large capacity lithium ion battery, covering an area of 437 mu. In addition to Tangshan project, Yaoning Science and Technology Jiangsu Yancheng project has also started construction this month.

On December 12, the commencement ceremony of Yaoning Technology's annual production of 12GWh lithium-ion battery and system assembly project was held in Jianhu Economic Development Zone, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province. The total investment of the project is about 10.23 billion yuan. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can achieve an annual sales of 12 billion yuan and tax revenue of 360 million yuan.

In addition, Yaoning Technology has also planned two 10 billion level lithium battery projects in Yingtan High tech Zone in Jiangxi Province and Yueyang Economic Development Zone in Hunan Province. On April 27, 2022, Yaoning Technology's annual output of 20GWh lithium iron phosphate battery project was signed and settled in Yingtan Hi tech Zone, Jiangxi Province, with a total investment of 10 billion yuan. The first phase of the project is to build a 4GWh production line.

In August 2021, Yaoning Technology signed a contract with Yueyang Economic Development Zone, Hunan Province, to invest about 10.37 billion yuan to build a lithium iron phosphate battery project. The project will be constructed in two phases, and will have an annual production capacity of 12GWh lithium iron phosphate battery and system assembly.

According to the public information, Yaoning Technology was established in December 2020 and was born in the spare parts business center of Geely Group. Enterprise investigation shows that Li Xingxing, chairman of Yaoning Technology, is also the controlling shareholder of Geely Group, and is the father and son of Li Shufu, the helmsman.
