Hubei Ezhou Civil Airport is a freight hub and passenger feeder airport. The site is located near Duwan Village, Yanji Town, Echeng District, Ezhou City, Hubei Province. The runway taxiway system of the project's flight area in this phase is designed to meet the target of 1.5 million passenger throughput and 3.3 million tons of cargo and mail throughput in 2030. Facilities in the terminal area and transfer center are designed to meet 1 million passenger throughput in 2025. The target design for cargo and mail throughput is 2.45 million tons, and the flight zone level indicator is 4E.
