Recently, Nanchang City ushered in the signing of an important scientific and technological cooperation project: Nanchang AMEC officially launched the development project of MOCVD equipment for red and yellow LED applications based on GaAs materials, and settled in Nanchang.

The cooperation is jointly organized by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Nanchang High-tech Industrial Development Zone and Nanchang Zhongwei Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd. to jointly devote themselves to the research and development and innovation of MOCVD equipment. The core goal of the project is to develop an advanced MOCVD device suitable for the production of GaAs-based red and yellow LEDs to meet the growing demand for industrial production of Micro LEDs.

The successful implementation of this project is expected to significantly enhance the core competitiveness of Jiangxi Province in the new display technology industry chain, and promote technological progress and industrial upgrading in this field. At the same time, it will also inject new vitality into the improvement and strengthening of China's new display industry chain, enhance its resilience and safety level in the face of international competition, and lay a more solid foundation for China's leading position in the field of global display technology.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
