Kenyan young David returned home from his studies in China and realized his dream of becoming a Electrical engineer in the construction of the key project of the China Kenya joint construction of the the Belt and Road.
At the construction site of Konza substation in Machakos County, Kenya, the 32 year old Electrical engineer David Mayna Kamore surveyed and surveyed with drawings and tape, checked the line laying, and joined his colleagues in the construction of Konza substation.
From childhood, David's dream is to become a Electrical engineer. In 2009, David came to China for further education, studying Chinese and electrical engineering and automation. After completing his studies, he entered the power industry in his hometown of Kenya to work. In 2022, during a critical period of construction for the Konza substation, David signed up for the job and will become one of the builders of the substation. This is his first opportunity to work in the high-voltage field.
David constantly honed his professional skills and became a professional Electrical engineer who played an independent role. He said that realizing his career dream and building his hometown are extremely happy things, and he expects to do more to benefit the people of his hometown.
As an important part of the the Belt and Road and Kenya Power Transmission Expansion Project jointly built by China and Kenya, and an important supporting facility of Kenya's 2030 Vision Flagship Project, Konza Technopole, the 400kV Konza substation contracted by Chinese enterprises will provide complete power supply for Konza Technopole after completion, and completely solve the problem of power consumption for surrounding residents.Editor/Ma Xue
