What is Chinese modernization? Zhuoma Grocery Store at the foot of the Iduo Mountains in Kangding, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province, may have the answer.

Modernization has lifted Zhuoma's home village of Odamumba, once a national-level poor village, out of poverty. Roads and scenic spots have been built here, attracting tourists from all over the world. Young people who work outside have returned to their hometown to work, and Zhuoma has opened a small shop at the foot of the mountain. In this video, Zhuoma takes you to her grocery store. It sells yak jerky, a specialty of Ganzi, wild mountain products and dairy products bought from villagers. From her kiosk, Zhuoma can sell goods to tourists visiting Ganzi and even to other cities via express delivery.
