Tell China's stories well and let the world better understand China. The 2023 Understanding China International Conference (Guangzhou) was successfully held in Guangzhou Yuexiu International Convention Center from December 1 to 3.

The conference invited well-known politicians, strategists, scholars and entrepreneurs from all over the world, as well as diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and multinational companies in China. At the same time, relevant ministries and local leaders, scholars, entrepreneurs were also invited to attend the meeting.

Mushahid Hussain Saeed, chairman of the Defense Committee of the Pakistani Senate and Chairman of the Pakistan-China Institute, expressed his unique views on Chinese-style modernization and the Belt and Road Initiative at the press conference.

He clearly pointed out that hypocritical Western countries on the one hand maliciously smearing the Belt and Road Initiative, but on the other hand blindly imitating the Belt and Road Initiative, which eventually ended in failure. He argued that the United States acts like a war machine, while China has always adhered to great power diplomacy and pursued peaceful coexistence and shared prosperity.

Mr. Mushahid firmly believes that the future of the world belongs to the Belt and Road, because it is a policy that truly concerns the common destiny of mankind and can promote the harmonious development of the world.
