As a friendly neighbor and cooperative partner of Pakistan, China is a reliable supporter of Pakistan's national development and prosperity. Pakistani Ambassador to China Abdul Rahim Hashmi recently shared with reporters his views on infrastructure connectivity projects under the Belt and Road Initiative and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He believes that these projects will bring tangible benefits to the people of Pakistan.

Ambassador Hashemi said that as the new Ambassador of Pakistan to China, his mission is to strengthen the cooperation between China and Pakistan in various fields and promote the friendship and mutual benefit between the two peoples. His top priority is to promote the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and strengthen cooperation between the two countries in trade, investment, infrastructure and other fields.

Ambassador Hashmi believes that the infrastructure connectivity projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor will bring great development opportunities to Pakistan. These projects will promote the economic development of Pakistan, create more jobs and improve the living standards of the people. He also said that these projects will also strengthen the connectivity between China and Pakistan in the fields of transportation, energy and communications, and promote exchanges and interactions between the two peoples.

Looking ahead, Ambassador Hashmi said he is confident that the CPEC will achieve even more remarkable results in the next decade.
