Since December 2023, Lahore, Pakistan, has been hit by unprecedented cold weather, with plummeting temperatures leading to the city's coldest winter on record. On this land, the Northern International Lahore Orange Line operation and maintenance project team of China North Industries Group North Company showed deep humanistic care.
Recently, the team launched a special winter warmth campaign. They visited the Dar-UL-Shafqat orphanage, located near the Samna-bad subway station on the Orange Line, to bring much-needed supplies to the orphaned children. They donated a large number of warm clothes, blankets, heaters and other daily necessities, as well as a variety of learning materials, hoping to provide some help for the growth of children.
This action is not only a material donation, but also the responsibility of Chinese enterprises for the international community and the practice of humanism. In this cold winter, the kindness of the Northern International Lahore Orange Line Operation and Maintenance project team has brought warmth and hope to the orphanage, and passed on the care and strength from Chinese enterprises.
This event not only reflects the social responsibility of Chinese enterprises, but also further deepens the friendship and cooperation between China and Pakistan. The children in the orphanage feel the warmth and care from Chinese enterprises, and they will remember this love from afar and pass on this love in the future days. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
