A large number of projects have been launched in a concentrated manner, injecting new impetus into the economic and social development of Suining. Recently, the Suining branch venue for the on-site promotion of major projects in the first quarter of 2024 in Sichuan Province was held in Anju District. Suining is focusing on promoting 69 major projects, with a planned total investment of 20.3 billion yuan. This year, it plans to invest 6.6 billion yuan, covering areas such as infrastructure, innovation and industrial development, people's livelihoods, and social undertakings.

From the perspective of project investment scale, there are 11 projects with a total investment of over 500 million yuan and 5 projects with a total investment of over 1 billion yuan. From the perspective of project categories: 28 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 11.2 billion yuan; 29 innovation and industrial development projects with a total investment of 4.2 billion yuan; 12 livelihood and social projects with a total investment of 4.9 billion yuan.

Among them, the Sichuan Energy Investment Anju Gas Power Generation Project with a total investment of 7 billion yuan has started construction, covering an area of about 310 acres. After completion and operation, it is expected to achieve an annual power generation of 7 billion kilowatt hours, promoting the development of Suining's energy and chemical industry chain cluster.

In 2023, Suining focused on "promoting investment through projects" and achieved significant results. 200 key projects in the city completed an investment of 94.2 billion yuan, with an investment completion rate of 139%, providing strong support for the high-quality development of the city's economy and society. This year, Suining will further grasp the core task of high-quality development, actively seize policy opportunities, increase project planning and reserve efforts, and strive for more funding and policy support.
