      China and Kenya enjoy a long history of friendship and close cooperation and exchanges in many fields.  These students said that they cherish this rare opportunity and hope to have an in-depth understanding of China's railway operation and management knowledge and experience so that they can play a better role in their future work.

      To express their gratitude to China, these students also prepared a special gift - a ticket for the whole journey of Mombasa-Nairobi railway. The Mombasa-Nairobi Railway is the largest infrastructure project in Kenya since its independence and a flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Kenya. The railway has not only injected new impetus into Kenya's development, but also brought tangible benefits to the local people.

      He pointed out that the Mombasa-Nairobi railway is a flagship project and a successful example of the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Kenya, and also an important achievement of the Belt and Road cooperation between China and Africa. He also encouraged these young people to continue to study hard and contribute to the cause of China-Kenya friendly cooperation.

      It is understood that during their study at Beijing Jiaotong University, these international students not only gained an in-depth understanding of China's railway operation and management knowledge, but also actively participated in various cultural exchange activities and established deep friendships with local students.
