Laos Minister of Energy and Mines Pousse Sayyassong recently led a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mines to Oudom Xay Province to conduct a field visit to the CGN Clean Energy Base project for connectivity in Northern Laos. The visit aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the progress of the project and discuss ways to further promote the development of the energy industry in Laos.

The CGN Northern Laos Connectivity Clean Energy Base project is an important investment by CGN in Laos, aiming to promote the development of local clean energy, optimize the energy structure and promote sustainable development. The project makes full use of the rich local natural resources to provide a stable and clean energy supply to Laos through the construction of hydropower, wind power and solar power generation facilities.

During the visit, Minister Posai Syassong spoke highly of the project and said that the Lao government will fully support CGN's business development in the country. He pointed out that CGN's investment in Laos will not only help promote local economic development, but also provide strong support for the transformation and upgrading of the energy industry in Laos.

In addition, the delegation also visited a school donated by CGN in Oudomxay Province, and participated in a cold weather donation activity of CGN in Oudomxay Province, Laos. CGN donated cold-proof clothing and school supplies for school teachers and students to help them survive the cold season. This kind act has been warmly welcomed and thanked by the local government and people.

Through this visit, the cooperation between CGN and the Lao government has been further deepened, laying a solid foundation for more extensive cooperation in the energy field in the future. CGN will continue to uphold its corporate social responsibility and make positive contributions to the economic and social development of Laos. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
