On February 18, 2024, Xi'an High tech Zone held a concentrated start activity for key projects in the first quarter of 2024, with 32 projects under construction and a total investment of 34.6 billion yuan. 42 projects were signed and landed with a total investment of 51.25 billion yuan, covering advanced manufacturing, modern services, social undertakings, infrastructure and other fields. Overall, it presents three major characteristics: adhering to industrial empowerment, focusing on social livelihood, and focusing on modern services.

Industrial Empowerment: Continuously Consolidating the Foundation of High Quality Development

In terms of industrial empowerment, in recent years, Xi'an High tech Zone has focused on the 55611 modern industrial system, deeply promoted the five training projects of "nurturing small businesses, climbing high, upgrading to higher levels, upgrading to higher levels, and going public", continuously strengthened "extending, supplementing, and strengthening chains", and vigorously promoted the gathering of industrial clusters and the growth and strength of the real economy through high-quality project construction, continuously consolidating the foundation of high-quality development.

In this construction project, there are a total of 19 advanced manufacturing projects with a total investment of 16.738 billion yuan, including hydrogen energy equipment manufacturing center, advanced silicon optical integration technology innovation platform, Xifuxiang cultural industry base and other projects. Overall, these projects exhibit high technological content, large investment intensity, and good economic benefits, which will effectively promote the accelerated construction of industrial clusters.

Social Livelihood: Improving the People's Sense of Gain, Happiness, and Security

In terms of social livelihood, the High tech Zone has always regarded the people's aspirations for a better life as its goal of struggle. It has focused on the construction of six social and infrastructure projects, with a total investment of about 1.232 billion yuan, including the renovation of shantytowns on collective land in Xiaoyanzhuang Village, and the restoration project of the Gaoguan River and Taiping River. The construction of this batch of "strong foundation, benefiting people's livelihood" projects will further fill the gaps in urban supporting facilities, enable the development achievements to benefit the general public, and improve the sense of gain, happiness, and security of the people.

Modern Services: Boosting and Accelerating the Construction of "Twin Cities"

In terms of modern services, the High tech Zone focuses on the construction of demonstration zones for industry city integration, high-level spatial planning, and accelerated the construction of "dual cities". Seven industry city integration projects with a total investment of 16.634 billion yuan have been launched, including Fenghui Commercial Block, Lejing Yahui, and Time Cloud Environment. Subsequently, Xi'an High tech Zone held the 2024 Investment Promotion and Project Construction Conference.
