Recently, at the 2024 project commencement mobilization meeting held in Xiong'an New Area, we learned exciting news: in the first quarter of 2024, Xiong'an New Area started 56 new projects with a total investment of 39.1 billion yuan, and it is expected to complete an annual investment of 28 billion yuan. These projects not only have a large number, but also cover multiple important areas such as relief facilities, innovation platforms, urban functions, public service functions, and commercial functions.

These newly started projects exhibit three significant characteristics. Firstly, there are numerous projects in the key areas, and the proportion of newly started projects in the start-up area, fifth cluster, and Zangang area exceeds 40% of the local projects in the new area. This fully demonstrates the determination and strength of Xiong'an New Area in accelerating the construction of key areas.

Secondly, the progress of functional projects is exceptionally rapid. For example, the first phase of the East and West Vertical projects in the supporting area of the university has started construction simultaneously with the university, while the infrastructure projects in the Zangang area are also being concentrated for construction. The rapid advancement of these projects will greatly enhance the carrying capacity of Xiong'an New Area and lay a solid foundation for its future development.

Finally, the coverage of county-level projects is extensive. There are a total of 25 projects involving multiple fields such as county town renovation and upgrading, rural revitalization, industrial development, public services, ecological environment governance, and post disaster recovery. The implementation of these projects will effectively promote the integrated development of urban and rural areas, and enhance the overall development level of Xiong'an New Area.

Looking ahead to the future, Xiong'an New Area will continue to accelerate the gathering of project elements, laying the foundation and creating conditions for undertaking relief work.
