In the context of global economic integration, the cooperation and exchanges among countries have become increasingly close. In an interview with reporters, Sikongo Haihambo, Executive Director of Namibia's Ministry of Trade and Industry, pointed out that the promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative has had a significant impact on the economic development of Namibia and even the whole of Africa. This initiative has become one of the key factors in promoting economic growth in Africa.

Haihambo said that the Belt and Road Initiative provides broad development opportunities for African countries through infrastructure construction, trade facilitation and production capacity cooperation. It has not only promoted trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, but also promoted the development of manufacturing, energy, agriculture and other fields. These initiatives help create jobs, improve people's living standards, and promote sustainable economic development.

Specifically, the Belt and Road Initiative has had an important impact on African economies in the following ways:
