Since it was put forward, the Belt and Road Initiative has attracted wide attention from the international community with its far-reaching historical heritage and grand vision. It not only inherits and develops the spirit of the ancient Silk Road, but also explores and innovates the mode of international cooperation in the new era of globalization. Under the framework of the Belt and Road cooperation, China and Hungary have made substantial progress in political, economic and other fields. This initiative is based on the Silk Road spirit of peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit, and presents a new cooperation concept and cooperation model to the world.

Nowadays, not only countries along the Belt and Road generally support and participate in the construction of the Belt and Road, but more and more countries in other regions, including developed countries and international organizations, are also responding to the Belt and Road Initiative and supporting the construction of the Belt and Road. Experts attending the meeting believed that China and Hungary should take the opportunity of jointly building the Belt and Road to further deepen bilateral friendly relations and push bilateral economic and trade cooperation to a new level. They suggested strengthening policy communication, expanding infrastructure connectivity, deepening trade and investment cooperation, advancing financial cooperation, and strengthening people-to-people exchanges and other areas of cooperation. At the same time, they also proposed to jointly address global challenges and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.

Through joint efforts, China and Hungary will work together to build an even closer model of China-Eu cooperation. This will not only help promote the sustainable development of China-Eu comprehensive strategic partnership, but also add new impetus to the Belt and Road cooperation. Editor/Xu Shengpeng
