On February 26, a day worth remembering, the joint venture formed by the National Machinery Engineering Group Headquarters (China Group) and Qiongjitong successfully signed the Intelligent Transportation (ITS) integration project of the A380 highway in Uzbekistan with the National Road Committee in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. The signing of this project not only marks the in-depth cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the field of transportation infrastructure, but also represents Uzbekistan's determination and progress in the construction of smart transportation.

The A380 highway in Uzbekistan, as a key component of the Central Asian Regional Economic (CAREC) Corridor 2, carries the important task of connecting countries in the region and promoting economic exchanges. The ITS integration project, as the first intelligent highway transportation project in Uzbekistan, has received strong support and financing from the Asian Development Bank. This means that not only the technical level of exchanges, but also the injection of financial capital to jointly help Uzbekistan's transportation modernization.

The National Machinery Engineering Group and the combination of Qianjietong will assume the heavy responsibility of this huge project. Their scope of work includes not only the design and integration of intelligent transportation systems on selected road segments, but also the supply, installation, commissioning, handover and subsequent operation and maintenance services. This means that from planning to implementation, from construction to maintenance, the team will provide Uzbekistan with a full range of full-cycle services.

The successful implementation of this project is expected to bring many benefits to Uzbekistan. First, it will comprehensively improve the level of highway information management in the country, making road use more efficient and safe. Secondly, the introduction of intelligent transportation system will significantly improve the traffic safety index and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. Moreover, by optimizing traffic flow and improving traffic capacity, transportation costs can be effectively reduced, traffic conditions can be improved, and real convenience can be brought to People's Daily travel.

In addition, the project will further promote trade between Uzbekistan and neighboring countries. The establishment of the intelligent transportation system will make logistics smoother and trade more convenient, thus injecting new vitality into the economic development of Uzbekistan. At the same time, it is also a microcosm of China's technology and Chinese wisdom going abroad and showing the world China's positive role and profound strength in international cooperation.

In general, the signing and implementation of the ITS integration project of the A380 highway in Uzbekistan will not only bring practical economic and social benefits to Uzbekistan, but also add a new chapter to the friendly cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.
