Suifenhe City in Heilongjiang Province is not only an important city on the border between China and Russia, but also one of the key ports for the "East Passage" of China Europe freight trains. In recent years, with the deepening of the the Belt and Road Initiative, Suifenhe Port has shown unprecedented vitality and potential. The number of China Europe freight trains operating through this port continues to grow, and the variety of inbound and outbound goods is becoming increasingly diverse. The brand quality has also achieved a leapfrog improvement. These gratifying changes not only demonstrate China's great power style of opening up to the outside world, but also inject strong impetus into the prosperity and development of regional economy.

A year's plan lies in spring. At the mechanized loading and unloading yard at the Suifenhe Railway Port, the roar of gantry cranes is incessant, and freight trains are carrying out loading and unloading operations in an orderly and busy manner. The Suifenhe Railway, Customs, Border Inspection and other departments have worked together to continuously optimize the operation process of the China Europe freight train, significantly improving the quality of operation and entry and exit efficiency, effectively shortening non production operation time, and injecting new vitality into the efficient operation of the port.

It is understood that since the launch of the China Europe freight train in 2018, the Suifenhe Railway Port has served as an important entry and exit channel, witnessing the smooth passage of over 2500 China Europe freight trains. These outbound trains not only deliver Chinese goods to five European countries, but also attract inbound trains from 25 cities in China. These trains carry a wide variety of goods, covering 14 major categories such as electrical products, daily necessities, industrial machinery, and agricultural and sideline products.
