Smart devices in the tunnel

Jingmen Shengjingshan Liujiagang Tunnel, with a total length of 3.2 kilometers, is the longest tunnel of the Xiangjing high-speed railway line, and the construction task of 1,790 meters has been successfully completed.

About 700 meters deep inside the tunnel, engineering vehicles can be seen shuttling back and forth, and the fan makes a roaring sound. A worker is skillfully operating the mechanical remote control device, and the wet spray manipulator automatically sprays concrete into the tunnel wall with precision and efficiency. In addition to the wet spray manipulator, a series of advanced equipment such as automatic distribution and mold grouting two-liner truck, hydraulic self-propelled trestle, advanced small conduit positioning, arch spacing positioning fixture have also been put into use. The introduction of these high-tech equipment has not only greatly improved the quality of tunnel construction, but also significantly enhanced the safety and efficiency of construction.

It is expected that in the first half of 2024, all tunnels of the bid section of the 15th Bureau of China Railway will be completed, and all beam channels of the bid section will be opened, laying the foundation for the completion of all box girder erection by the end of October.

The entire line will be built within the year

Along the 1.6-kilometer trestle deep into the Han River, the construction site of the Hanjiang Super Bridge of Yicheng Xiangjing high-speed Railway is lively and busy. This spectacular three-span low-pylon cable-stayed bridge has its piers "out of the water" to reveal its majestic outline.

In the high air, the workers seem to be staging a wonderful drama of "building blocks". They are busy installing an advanced bridge-building machine, which has the powerful ability to erect 8 meters of stage box girder at one time, greatly improving the construction efficiency and is expected to shorten the construction period by two months.

Hubei Railway Group has completed the "Jingjing high-speed railway safety intelligent perception and big data diagnosis technology research and application" and "Xiangjing high-speed railway long span bridge construction and maintenance integrated intelligent monitoring key technology and equipment" two major scientific research projects.

It is expected that by the end of March 2024, the railway construction project led by the company will complete an investment of 2.564 billion yuan, accounting for 123.98% of the "opening red" investment plan in the first quarter, exceeding the task target.

At present, the construction of the bridge pile foundation and cap of the Xiangjing high-speed railway is nearing the end, the construction of the pier has been completed nearly 90%, and the beam work has been successfully promoted by 30%. It is expected that the beam erection task of the whole line will be completed in 2024, and strive to achieve the completion of the tunnel of the whole line by the end of September, laying a solid foundation for the smooth operation of the high-speed rail.

As a key link of the national high-speed railway main corridor Huonan high-speed railway, the high-speed railway is expected to be fully completed and opened to traffic in 2025. By then, the travel time from Xiangyang to Jingmen will be greatly shortened, further promoting the rapid connectivity between Yijingjing Metropolitan area and Xiangyang Metropolitan Area, and injecting new vitality into regional economic development.
