In 2024, the highly anticipated renovation project of Huaguoshan Avenue (Gangcheng Avenue Cangwu section) and surrounding intersections officially began construction under the careful organization of Jinhai Construction Company, a holding company of urban construction. This project carries the deep expectations of citizens for optimizing the urban transportation environment and is also an important part of promoting urban development.

The starting point of the renovation project is located on the north side of Gangcheng Avenue, extending southward along Huaguoshan Avenue, passing through multiple important intersections such as Keyuan North Road, Xiahui Road, and Jiulong Road, and finally ending on the north side of the intersection of Cangwu Road, with a total length of about 7 kilometers. This is an important passage carrying urban traffic flow, which is of great significance for improving the travel experience of citizens and enhancing the city's image.

This renovation project will repair the main road surface of the entire line according to the original road grade, ensuring a smooth and unobstructed road. At the same time, 10 intersections will also be channelized to optimize traffic organization and improve traffic efficiency, making the traffic at the intersections smoother. In addition, Xiafei Bridge and Lingzhou Bridge will also be widened to cope with the increasing traffic flow. The intersection of Yunu Road will be transformed into a signal controlled level crossing with a median opening, further improving the safety and traffic capacity of the intersection.
