Recently, the prelude to an exciting project construction officially kicked off in the North Square of Tianjin Station, and the reconstruction project of the bus hub roads and supporting facilities started as scheduled. This project is not only an important upgrade of urban infrastructure, but also a profound improvement of citizens’ travel experience.

The construction scope of this project is precisely locked on the current ring road of Tianjin Station North Square, starting from Huaxing Road in the east and ending at Xinguang Road in the west, with a total length of approximately 283 meters. The construction team will carefully renovate this section of road to give it a new look. The overall width of the roadway cross-section in the implementation scope is between 8 meters and 18.5 meters, and it is designed as a one-way two-lane, which not only ensures the smooth passage of vehicles, but also takes into account the beauty and safety of the road.

The completion of the project will bring about a series of significant changes. The bus terminal originally located on the west side of the north square of Tianjin Station will be moved to the north square. This move will greatly shorten the distance for citizens to go to the north entrance of the station. After the relocation, the distance between the bus station and the north entrance will be shortened from the original 410 meters to only 230 meters, greatly saving citizens’ travel time and further improving their travel convenience and comfort.

The implementation of this renovation project not only reflects the government's emphasis on urban infrastructure construction, but also demonstrates the government's firm determination to improve citizens' quality of life.
