From the Department of Transport of the Xizang Autonomous Region, there is exciting news: in 2024, there will be 417 highway transportation projects planned to be launched throughout Xizang, which marks that Xizang's transportation construction will reach a new level. According to the latest resumption plan, as of mid March, 110 projects have successfully resumed work, showing great vitality. In the coming second quarter, the continued project will resume in an all-round way, and the whole project construction has started well, which has injected a strong impetus into the traffic development of Xizang.

It is reported that Xizang will spare no effort to accelerate the construction of key highway projects this year. The key highway projects under construction, such as G4218 Lhasa Shigatse Airport, will be steadily promoted to provide more convenient conditions for Xizang's transportation. At the same time, the preliminary work of new construction projects such as the G109 Golmud Nagqu section upgrading and renovation project will also accelerate, laying a solid foundation for future transportation development.

In addition, Xizang will also speed up the construction of rural road projects, promote the implementation of 281 administrative village unblocking projects, and strive to add 175 administrative villages to build hardened roads. This will greatly improve the transportation conditions in rural areas and inject new vitality into rural revitalization.
