In the first quarter of 2024, Xinjiang's Alashankou port was extremely busy, with a series of fully loaded China-Europe train shuttles. According to statistics, the number of China-Europe trains passing through the port during this period reached a staggering 1,809, an increase of 13.7 percent compared with the same period in 2023. Not only that, the import and export shipments of Alashankou port also reached 3.913 million tons, an increase of 17.4%. The growth of these two data exceeded expectations, achieving a "double growth" situation.
