On June 11, a Russian liquid oil transportation and logistics company made its first pass through Kazakhstan and drove a 40-foot export train carrying rapeseed oil from Russia's Altai Territory to Chengdu, China. The liquid cargo was delivered to the consignee in its entirety in just 10 days. It was also the first train in the history of Russia and China to load products from seven factories in the Altai region by land.

The train consists of a total of 62 containers and uses modern flexible tank containers with a capacity of up to 25.7 tons each. The company said that the goods sent to Xi'an, Chongqing, Chengdu and other cities can now be exported even if the orders of a single customer are small, which is difficult to do in the past.
The new land transport lines also cover Shanghai, Huangpu and Tianjin. Previously, goods in these areas were mainly transported by sea, as Chinese railway operators had stipulated that at least 90 20-foot containers (from the Siberian region) or 130 (from the western region) had to be completed to pass. The logistics company is the first company to be approved by China Railway to open the overland route in units of 40-foot containers.

The company notes that this breakthrough stems from years of efforts to improve reliability, safety, high service quality and efficiency of logistics operations. The implementation of the project is also in line with the Russian government's development strategy to promote the export of high value-added non-resources, and will help to optimize the logistics cost of goods and significantly shorten the delivery time to Chinese factories. Since 2008, the company has accumulated extensive experience in transporting finished liquids (via flexible tank containers, both land and sea), with a cumulative volume of one million tons. In August last year, it was certified by Russian Railways, and it is currently planned to make regular departures from Eastern Siberia, the Urals and the central regions of Russia.(This article is from the official website of Seetao www.seetao.com.
