Recently, after 2.5 hours of continuous operation, the continuous girder of the main span of the Rongjiang Nanhe Large Bridge, a key control project of the whole line of Jiehui Railway, was successfully closed.

Rongjiang Nanhe Bridge was invested by Jihui Railway Company of Guangdong Railway Investment Group and constructed by China Railway Fourth Bureau. The bridge is located in Nanxi Town, Puning City, Jieyang City, with a total length of 1,576.84 meters and a floor width of 7.6 meters, it is the longest and deepest bridge across the water area of the Jiehui Railway line, and also the railway bridge with the largest span on the Rongjiang Nanhe River.

The bridge adopts (60+96+96+60) meters continuous beam main span to cross the Rongjiang Nanhe (Sanzhou Lock - Apa River section) navigable channel, with two main span closing sections, the closing section is 2 meters long, and the construction is completed by hanging basket cantilever pouring. A total of 46.8 cubic meters of concrete is poured.

Closing the main span is an important process to control the stress condition and alignment of the whole bridge, and it is also a key process with the greatest technical difficulty, the highest safety risk and the most difficult quality control in the whole bridge construction process. In order to ensure the smooth closure of the main span, the construction party of the Fourth Railway Bureau scientific organization, careful planning, and constantly optimize the construction plan.

Jiehui Railway is located in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, starting from Meishan Railway Jieyang station to Shantou Railway Huilai station, the new main line length of 88.66 km, the design speed of 160 km, is a key project of Guangdong Province "14th Five-Year Plan".

After the completion and opening to traffic, the Jiehui Railway will be connected with Beijing-Kowloon Railway, Guangzhou-Meizhou Railway, Meizhou Railway, Shanzhou-Shantou Railway, Yingmei Railway and Pumei Railway, becoming an important route for Jieyang Port to transport goods and residents along the line to exchange, and further improving the construction of intercity railway network for interconnection in eastern Guangdong.
