On April 11, 2024, Harbin held a grand opening ceremony for the first batch of placement-type affordable housing projects. This year, the city plans to raise a total of 3,000 units of allotment-type affordable housing, including 2,000 new units and 1,000 existing units converted.
On the same day, the Anju·Jihefu project located in Tongji Street, Nangang District officially broke ground. As the first batch of new allotment-type affordable housing projects in Harbin, the project covers an area of 1.13 hectares and has a total construction area of 39,482 square meters. It is expected to provide security There are 336 sets of sexual housing.
As one of the 35 pilot cities for affordable housing construction in the country, Harbin has actively responded to the call and quickly deployed actions since the country launched the planning and construction of affordable housing in 2023. Through in-depth study of relevant policies, careful organization, systematic planning, and formulation of plans, a municipal-level work team and a Harbin housing construction company were established to be responsible for the construction, allotment, and operation of affordable housing projects. Harbin took the lead among the three northeastern provinces to achieve the full start of the first batch of projects, demonstrating its determination and efficiency in the field of affordable housing construction.
It is understood that the new placement-type affordable housing project in 2024 will involve three areas: Tongji Street in Nangang District, Sihai Road in Daowai District, and Hongxing Village in Xiangfang District. It is planned to be completed and delivered in 2026. In terms of house type design, the starting point is to ensure the actual needs of families, with two-bedroom and three-bedroom units as the main units. The building area of a single unit is controlled between 70 and 110 square meters, aiming to provide residents with a comfortable and livable housing environment.
At present, relevant departments in Harbin are intensively studying and formulating policy documents such as affordable housing implementation plans, qualification access and allotment management to ensure the smooth progress and fair distribution of the project.
