On April 9, the delegation of Diplomatic Envoys from 2024 to China gathered together to participate in a ceremony of extraordinary significance - "2024 Delegation of Diplomatic Envoys to China Visits Sichuan - Departure Ceremony of China-Europe Train (Chengdu-Chongqing)".

At the ceremony site, a fully loaded China-Europe train slowly entered people's sight, it is about to embark on the journey to Europe. Mr. Ndong, Ambassador of the Republic of Gabon to China, as a witness of the event, watched the spectacular scene of the train departure. His eyes were deep and his face was full of admiration.

Ambassador Ndong said in an interview that by visiting the China-Europe Express (Chengdu-Chongqing) departure ceremony, he deeply felt the vigorous development of the Belt and Road Initiative. This great railway corridor connecting China and Europe has not only accelerated the flow of goods and promoted the prosperity of trade, but also become a bridge and bond to strengthen international cooperation.

He further pointed out that the opening and operation of China-Europe freight trains is one of the important achievements of the Belt and Road Initiative. It demonstrates China's positive attitude and firm determination in global economic cooperation, and also demonstrates China's responsibility and contribution to promoting the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Ambassador Ndong also said that the Gabonese Republic will continue to strengthen friendly cooperation with China and jointly promote the construction of the Belt and Road. He believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, future cooperation will be closer and more fruitful.
