The city of Casablanca is ushering in a major road project of epoch-making significance. The project is mainly to upgrade and maintain a 3-kilometer-long critical section of the RR320 highway in the Dar Bouazza area in the north of the city. This section not only carries the function of the city's traffic artery, but also serves as an important passage connecting the city to the United Nations Plaza. Its importance is self-evident.

In response to the current problem of limited highway capacity, this project plans to significantly widen the road section and upgrade it from the existing two-way lane to a two-way three-lane. This transformation will greatly improve the road's traffic capacity and effectively alleviate traffic pressure, especially congestion during peak hours. For a long time, the congestion problem in the center of Casablanca has been a headache for citizens. This upgrade will undoubtedly bring good news to citizens, significantly improving their travel experience and reducing travel time.

In addition to the basic widening work, the project will also include a series of detailed improvement works at key intersections. These intersections include important transportation nodes such as the Southwest Ring Road, RP3003 and the Sidi El Khadir link. At these intersections, a series of optimization improvements will be carried out to improve traffic flow and safety.

It is worth mentioning that the project will also install a new drainage system and lighting fixtures. The new drainage system will effectively deal with the problem of water accumulation during the rainy season and ensure smooth roads; and the addition of lighting devices will greatly improve the safety of driving at night, allowing citizens to feel at ease when traveling at night.

Funding for this major road project is diversified and is primarily shared by the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Facilities and Water Resources, and the Ministry of Land Planning. At the same time, local governments and institutions such as the Casablanca-Setat region, the Casablanca Provincial Council, the Nouasel Provincial Council, the City of Casablanca, the City of Darbuaza and the City of Urad Azuz are also actively involved to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. Provides strong financial protection.

As the project progresses, Casablanca will have a smoother and safer road traffic environment. This will not only further enhance the overall image and attractiveness of the city, but also bring a more convenient and comfortable travel experience to citizens.
