The two parties discussed the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park located in Guangxi, China, and the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industry located in Pahang, Malaysia. The two countries reviewed the construction and development of the park and agreed to strengthen cooperation in promoting the higher-level and higher-quality development of the “two countries and twin parks” between China and Malaysia.
Li Fei, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said that 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia. Standing at a new historical starting point, the development and construction of "two countries, two parks" faces new development opportunities. China is willing to work with Malaysia to strengthen overall coordination and pool joint efforts in accordance with the direction indicated by the leaders of the two countries, so as to provide more convenient conditions and a better environment for the development of the two parks.

Statistics show that in the past 12 years since China and Malaysia have cooperated in the "Two Countries, Two Parks", the China-Malaysia Qinzhou Industrial Park has signed 249 projects, completed a total fixed asset investment of approximately 29.5 billion yuan, and completed a total industrial output value of 93.8 billion yuan, forming a biopharmaceutical industry. , electronic information, new energy materials, and processing and trade industries of ASEAN specialty products such as bird's nest, durian, and palm oil.
