On April 25, 2024, the Technical Committee of Huaneng New Energy Mengdong Branch organized an important meeting to conduct a detailed review of the feasibility study of the 200,000-kilowatt wind hydrogen storage and production project proposed to be built in Kezuo Middle Banner. The meeting brought together the core members of the company's technical committee, representatives from various functional departments, as well as from the design institute, partners, third-party review institutions and external experts and other forces. Yongsheng, executive deputy director of the Technical Committee, chaired the meeting to ensure the smooth conduct and in-depth discussion of the meeting.

At the meeting, the participating experts and representatives carried out detailed discussion and analysis on the feasibility study report of the hydrogen production project. They carefully reviewed the core contents of the overall plan design, energy storage configuration, hydrogen production plant configuration, construction and installation engineering and project budget, and put forward a total of 104 specific suggestions for changes in key areas such as the construction form of the booster station, the layout plan of the hydrogen production station, the single feasible budget estimate and the selection of electrolytic cell. These in-depth exchanges and professional opinions provide a solid support and guarantee for hydrogen production projects to successfully pass the investment decisions of new energy companies.

This hydrogen production project, as the first strategic emerging industry project involved in the new energy company, has received high attention and strong support from the company's senior management. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, the relevant departments of the company, the participating parties and the reviewers must enhance the political awareness and enhance the sense of responsibility. We need to unify our thinking, build consensus, and adopt a precise and efficient working mechanism of responsibility system + inventory system + node system to ensure that all tasks are effectively implemented and tracked. The ultimate goal is to get the hydrogen production project off the ground by June 30, which is what we must achieve.
