Recently, the "Hongjin Ocean" ship, loaded with 15 hundred meter wind blades, set sail from Yantai Port in Shandong Province to the Taizhou offshore wind farm in Zhejiang Province. This marks Yantai Port once again breaking a new record for the largest number of domestic wind blade shipments per ship at Shandong Port, contributing to China's green and low-carbon energy transformation and reducing the cost of electricity consumption for the whole society.

During the operation of the "Hongjin Ocean" vessel, under the unified command of the Yantai Port Production Business Department, Penglai Port Company scientifically adjusted production factors, fully utilized multiple advantages such as equipment accessories, professional team, and supply chain service system, and conducted practical table simulation of the three-layer wind blade lifting safety plan. Tailored specialized ship lifting technology was used to complete the safe and efficient lifting of 15 wind blades in just 10.7 hours, with an average time of 45 minutes for each blade from transportation to lifting, an efficiency improvement of 5.6%, winning high praise from customers and ship owners, and further polishing the distinctive brand of "North China Offshore Wind Power Home Port".

The 2024 Shandong Provincial Government Work Report proposes to support Yantai in "building an international home port for offshore wind power in China" and "forming a new pattern of coordinated development of industries throughout the province with Penglai wind power as the core". Yantai Port takes advantage of the situation and keeps up with the pace of building core competitive advantages in Shandong Port. It continues to focus on the high-end manufacturing industry's overseas characteristic business, and has built a one-stop service platform for the entire wind power industry chain products covering towers, blades, hosts, and related accessories in the Penglai Port area. It has served more than 10 wind power equipment customers and exported to more than 20 countries. In the first quarter, Yantai Port completed a wind power equipment throughput of 960000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 96% compared to the same period last year. It is committed to building a more efficient, smooth, intelligent, and stable global supply chain system for general cargo, and providing a Chinese solution for the development of multimodal transportation of general cargo.
