Ningbo Zhoushan Port Container Terminal Phase III supporting parking project, referred to as the Ash storage project, is the first digital, three-dimensional, intelligent card-collecting parking lot and storage yard project in China, located in the ash storage plot of Beilun Power plant, covers an area of about 315 mu, with a total investment of about 3.6 billion yuan. Ningbo Zhoushan Port National Logistics hub infrastructure construction project (referred to as the "two" project) is the first of the four major sectors of the project, and has been included in the major construction project of Ningbo City "14th Five-Year" plan and Ningbo City "1115" project ten landmark projects.

The project is carried out in two phases, and the first phase of the project under construction involves empty container storage yard, repair and washing container storage, heavy container handover area, etc.

The traditional outdoor empty container yard has a maximum stack of 8 layers, and the empty container yard in this project adopts the country's first 9+9 double-layer stacking process, and each layer can place up to 9 layers of containers. Under the same area, the storage capacity has been greatly improved, and it can accommodate more than 25,000 containers (TEUs) and provide more than 1,400 parking Spaces after being put into use. This innovative measure can not only greatly improve the utilization rate of land, but also effectively ease the pressure of port collection and distribution.

In addition, the project will also realize the unmanned fully automated operation of empty container storage yard through intelligent means such as the Internet of things and equipment monitoring.

At present, in addition to the ash warehouse project, the collection and distribution base projects of the North plot of Jiashan, Huashi plot of Chuanshan Port Area and Biita plot of Meishan Port Area in the "two" projects are also progressing rapidly, of which the Huashi plot project will start in May.
