Shanxi Electric Power Construction Company, a subsidiary of China Energy Construction Corporation, has recently successfully obtained a project contract officially issued by Ethiopia Power Distribution Company, which involves the construction of a medium voltage distribution network in the northern region of Brazil, the capital city of Addis Ababa.

This project will be responsible for the design, supply, installation, testing, and trial operation of 380 kilometers of overhead distribution lines and medium voltage distribution transformers in different regions of the capital. The implementation of this major infrastructure project is expected to significantly improve the reliability of power supply in Addis Ababa, thereby effectively improving the quality of life and electricity satisfaction of local residents.

This project is an important component of the distributed power and lighting project in Ethiopia.
