On May 12, 2024, the three regions of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei jointly signed 13 cooperation agreements and industrial cooperation projects, which cover a variety of fields, including collaborative innovation and industrial collaboration, low carbon emission reduction, and public service integration.

These cooperation projects aim to further promote the coordinated development of the three places in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and deepen cooperation in the fields of industry, science and innovation, social security and medical care through a model of one-map planning, one-game construction and integrated development. According to the specific content of the project, Huairou District in Beijing and Binhai New Area in Tianjin will achieve joint development in terms of public service platform construction and cultural and tourism resources cooperation. At the same time, Tianjin Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology City will cooperate with Beijing Zhongguancun to promote the development and construction of high-end medical industrial park. These cooperation projects also include high-performance energy storage (power) battery production and upstream and downstream industry projects with a total investment of 2.5 billion yuan, and the national Pingku Logistics headquarters base with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. The signing of these projects will promote the economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and enhance the overall competitiveness of the region.
