On June 4th, the boom of the 5000T fixed boom crane constructed by Zhenhua Heavy Industries was successfully installed at the dock. This arm frame adopts float installation, which is the first time in the industry. This installation method greatly reduces installation costs and lays the foundation for subsequent project completion and delivery.

The project started construction in May 2023 and lasted for 13 months, successfully completing the production tasks of the arm frame from workshop manufacturing to overall assembly in the field, barge loading, and float installation. During this period, the project team overcame difficulties in the production, lifting, and transportation of ultra large double truss arm structures, providing valuable practical experience for the construction of similar projects in the company's future.

The 5000T fixed boom crane boom of CCCC Third Aviation is currently the largest boom constructed by the company, weighing about 3100 tons and measuring 167 meters in length. Two sets of 2500T main hooks are set horizontally on the head, which can be connected to one set of 5000T lifting hooks through a lifting beam. One set of 1200T auxiliary hook is set at the top of the boom, using a mountain shaped hook. When the rated lifting capacity of the double main hook linkage crane is 5000T, the amplitude outside the ship is not less than 45 meters, the lifting height is 133 meters on the deck, and the lifting height of the auxiliary hook is not less than 150 meters on the deck.
