Ms. Nalika Kodika, Commercial Counselor of the Sri Lankan Embassy in China, is optimistic about the huge market in China. She is convinced that China not only shows strong vitality in the economy, but also shows an open and inclusive attitude in cultural exchanges and win-win cooperation. From the close interaction of the CIIE, an international economic and trade exchange platform, she witnessed the potential of close cooperation and common development between China and other countries in the field of commerce and trade.
Counsellor Kodica made special mention of the Belt and Road Initiative, believing that it is an important platform to promote connectivity and achieve common prosperity among countries along the routes. Through cooperation with China, Sri Lanka has been able to share the dividends of China's economic development and achieved remarkable results in areas such as infrastructure construction and trade facilitation. This mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation model has not only deepened the friendship between the two peoples, but also brought tangible benefits to both sides.
In addition, "Ten thousand miles of tea" as a business card of Chinese culture, in the view of Counsellor Kodika, it is a deep emotional link between China and Sri Lanka. As a kind of worldwide drink, tea carries rich cultural connotation and economic value. Through the exchange and dissemination of tea culture, the people of China and Sri Lanka can feel each other's cultural heritage and historical origin while enjoying the fragrance.
The Chinese market for Sri Lanka means unlimited business opportunities and vast space for cultural exchanges. In the future, as China-Sri Lanka relations continue to deepen and expand, it is believed that the two sides will work together in more areas and create an even more brilliant tomorrow.
