Recently, according to reports from local official media and multiple authoritative information sources in Vietnam, Foxconn Singapore has officially obtained investment permission and will invest approximately US$551 million in Quang Ninh Province in northern Vietnam to build two new high-tech production projects.
The two projects invested in this investment are located in Song Khoai Amata Industrial Park and Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park in Quang Ninh Province. The two projects are expected to be completed in July 2026 and officially put into production in May 2027 after a series of mechanical installation and trial operation.
The first project plans to invest US$263.7 million and focuses on the production of smart entertainment products with a designed annual production capacity of 4.18 million pieces. This project will not only enhance Foxconn's manufacturing capabilities in the field of smart entertainment equipment, but is also expected to further consolidate its position in the global market.
The second project has an investment of US$287.2 million, covers an area of 12.4 hectares, and focuses on the production of intelligent system equipment. The project has a designed annual production capacity of 8.78 million pieces, which shows Foxconn's great confidence and long-term layout in the intelligent system equipment market.
According to the local government of Vietnam, the construction of these two projects will not only create a large number of local jobs, but also drive the development of related industrial chains and have a positive role in promoting the growth of the local economy. As a world-renowned electronic manufacturing service provider, Foxconn's large-scale investment in Vietnam will undoubtedly further enhance its competitiveness in the global supply chain.
