Recently, with the order of the transmission construction branch operator, the concrete mixer started steadily and accurately injected the first batch of concrete into the T143 foundation pile. This move officially kicked off the construction of the Chanling-Lingang 220 kV line project. The project is located in Songzi City, Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, and carries the important mission of injecting strong momentum into local development.

The project is large-scale, with a total of 181 new towers planned and a line stretching 60.289 kilometers. It not only tests the skills and wisdom of the construction team, but also demonstrates the ultimate pursuit of time efficiency. Faced with the tight schedule and heavy construction tasks, the construction project department demonstrated a high degree of foresight and refined management capabilities, scientifically planned the construction cycle, and ensured that each link was closely connected and efficiently promoted.

It is particularly worth mentioning that in view of the complex construction environment that will be encountered in the project, such as crossing multiple high-voltage DC lines (including ±800 kV Fufeng DC, Jinsu DC, Jinshang DC) and crossing S88 Yueyi Expressway and other key challenges, the project department has made early arrangements, formulated a thorough and detailed work plan, and conducted a comprehensive investigation and sorting of potential risk points, aiming to ensure the safety, controllability and smooth progress of the entire construction process.

The core value of this project is that it will build a solid power support system for the Songzi Lingang Industrial Park and provide a stable and reliable operating power supply. After the project is completed, it will greatly meet the power needs of major industrial enterprises in the park, further optimize the power supply structure of Songzi City, and significantly improve the power supply capacity and reliability of the power grid, which has far-reaching milestone significance.

In addition, the project will also serve as an important reinforcement force for the 220 kV connection channel of the Songzi City power grid, effectively alleviating the pressure on the Songzi Western Power Grid due to the 110 kV long-distance power supply, and adding new guarantees for the stable operation of the regional power grid. Looking ahead, during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, with the continued development of the Lingang Industrial Park, the project will serve as a convenient power access point, providing strong energy support for the regional economic take-off and helping Songzi City take more solid steps on the road of high-quality development.Editor/Cheng Ting
