Cracking the construction dilemma in uninhabited areas at an altitude of 4000 meters
The hard bone of the project is undoubtedly the Gongshan section. On this 88.7-kilometer front line, 144 iron towers are like nails wedged into frozen soil and gravel layers at an altitude of over 3000 meters. The data shows that the maximum drop in this section is 1500 meters, and 65% of the tower positions are on steep slopes above 45 degrees. The highest tower position even exceeds 4000 meters above sea level, and construction personnel need to work in an environment with an oxygen content of only 60% of the plain. What's even more severe is that there are up to 8 months of ice and snow and 6 months of rainy season here every year, and the frequency of road interruptions caused by geological disasters is extremely high.
Faced with the dire situation of "impassable roads and difficulty for people to travel", Nanwang Ultra High Voltage Company did not adopt the traditional mode of carrying people and horses, but instead built an aerial material lifeline. According to the on-site person in charge Wang Anjun, through the innovative application of heavy-duty unmanned aerial vehicle transportation system, the full coverage of mechanized transportation of construction materials has been achieved, and the lifting efficiency of materials has been improved by more than 50%. The dual carbon strategic pivot behind the billion dollar investment
The Tibet Guangdong DC project is not only a technological miracle, but also a dual lever of economy and ecology. The main project with a total investment of approximately 53.2 billion yuan has leveraged over 150 billion yuan in supporting investment for the integrated water, wind, and solar power base, and strongly radiated to the upstream and downstream equipment manufacturing and construction industries. According to calculations, the investment of only 9.7 billion yuan in the Yunnan section of the project can directly drive the growth of local related industries by over 10 billion yuan, becoming an important ballast for stable growth.
The deeper significance lies in the implementation of the dual carbon target. After full operation in 2029, the Southeast Tibet Clean Energy Base will annually deliver over 43 billion kilowatt hours of electricity to the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, which is equivalent to one-third of Shenzhen's annual electricity consumption and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 33 million tons, equivalent to planting nearly 90000 hectares of forests.
