The operation, carried out by a powerful 3,600-ton crawler crane, was like a skilled dancer, and went through complex and delicate steps such as lifting, stable hovering, precise rotation, smooth landing and fine-tuning, laying a solid foundation for the internal construction of the nuclear island reactor plant.

In order to overcome these difficulties, the Shanghai Nuclear Engineering Institute has adopted a number of innovative measures: anti-deformation tooling has been specially added for deformable areas to strengthen structural stability; The wire rope is used to bind the module in an all-round way, and with the help of ground forklift traction, the precise control of the module direction is realized; In addition, advanced technologies such as large-space 3D laser scanning, BIM modeling and reverse engineering have been introduced, and the integration and application of these high-tech means is like installing a smart brain for hoisting operations, ensuring that the CA03 module can be seated in the predetermined position without any difference.
