Recently, the two cross-line bridges of Changsha Road and Jinshui Road have been successfully opened to traffic, marking another major upgrade of the transportation network in the main urban area of Qingdao. These two bridges not only realize the rapid passage of Changsha Road, Jinshui Road and Chongqing Road, but also greatly promote the construction of the road network system in the main urban area of Qingdao, so that the comprehensive traffic efficiency of Chongqing Elevated Road has been significantly improved.
As a key node of the Chongqing Viaduct, the Changsha Road and Jinshui Road bridges are designed to a high standard: the bridge deck is four-lane in both directions, and the road under the bridge is six-lane in both directions. The Changsha Road Bridge has a total length of 342 meters and spans Chongqing Road, effectively alleviating the traffic pressure at the intersection and improving the overall travel efficiency of Changsha Road. The Jinshui Road Bridge, with a total length of 940 meters, spanning Chongqing Middle Road and Wenchang Road, has brought rapid distribution convenience to the traffic around Qingdao North Railway Station, and it is expected that the traffic time will be shortened by 5-10 minutes during peak hours.
In the process of construction, Qingdao Urban Development Group adheres to the concept of green construction, actively explores and applies cutting-edge technologies such as BIM technology, prefabricated intelligent construction, new materials and new processes, and injects strong new quality productivity into the construction of Shuangqiao. The application of prefabricated intelligent construction technology not only optimizes the shape and function of the bridge, but also realizes the refined management of the whole process of manufacturing, transportation and erection through the digital construction and management platform. The adoption of new materials and processes such as UHPC ultra-high-performance concrete, bridge anti-corrosion coating, and snowmelt pavement has greatly improved the durability, safety and aesthetics of the bridge.
In the face of the complex construction environment and the urgent construction period requirements, China Railway Tenth Bureau Group Co., Ltd. and Qingjian Group Co., Ltd. and other construction units focused on the goal, scientifically planned and carefully organized, and overcame a series of problems such as limited working space, large bridge span, and continuous heavy rainfall. Through saturation of personnel, machinery, materials and other resource elements, the implementation of 24-hour shift operation, to ensure the smooth progress of the construction of the double bridge and the early opening to traffic.
At the same time, the Chongqing elevated road surface road is also in full swing construction. At present, except for some bridge construction areas, the surface roads have been successively opened to traffic, showing a new look. The 15.7-kilometer-long surface road is designed as a two-way eight-lane main line, and a 168,000-square-meter green corridor and more than 20 regional landscape nodes have been created along the line. In order to improve the overall level of road construction, Qingdao Urban Development Group actively builds a refined management and control system, and constantly explores the application of new materials and processes. For example, the application of rubber powder modified asphalt noise reduction pavement, new anti-settlement manhole cover, new rainwater grate, prefabricated imitation stone curb and permeable brick, etc., not only reduces driving noise, improves driving safety and comfort, but also enhances the compression, damage resistance and drainage capacity of the road, and reduces the later maintenance cost.
With the opening of the double-span bridge and the successive opening of the main line surface road, the rapid three-dimensional transportation corridor of Chongqing Elevated Road has been basically formed. This is not only another strong injection of Qingdao's north-south traffic artery, but also an important milestone in the improvement of Qingdao's urban functions and quality.
