Recently, the high-profile Xi'an-Shiyan high-speed railway project has ushered in an important milestone: Shangluoxi Station has officially broken ground, marking that the construction of the high-speed railway has entered a substantial stage. The high-speed rail line is highlighted by a staggering design speed of 350 km/h, which heralds a more convenient and efficient future for transportation between the two places.
The 256.7-kilometer-long West 10 high-speed railway not only passes through Xi'an City and Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province, but also extends to Shiyan City in Hubei Province, and finally seamlessly connects with the Han 10 High-speed Railway that has been put into operation, further weaving the high-speed railway network in the central and western regions of China. Among them, the Shaanxi section occupies the main part of the line, with a total length of about 169.4 kilometers, and this section will build five new modern high-speed rail stations, including Xi'an East, Lantian , Shangluoxi, Shanyang and Manchuan Pass, bringing unprecedented development opportunities to the regions along the line.
The launch of this project not only greatly shortens the time and space distance between Xi'an and Shiyan, promotes the integrated development of the regional economy, but also provides passengers with a faster and more comfortable travel option, indicating that the lives of the people in the two places will become more closely connected with the arrival of the high-speed rail era.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
