At 10:58 on May 21, the first pile foundation of the Caijiagou Bridge of the Yichang-Fuling section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Rong high-speed railway along the Yangtze River (hereinafter referred to as the Yifu high-speed railway) was officially drilled, marking the start of the construction of the highest pier of the high-speed railway with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour in China.

Caijiagou Bridge is located in Ma'an Street and Lidu Street, Fuling District, Chongqing City, the bridge is designed by the Second Institute of China Railway, China Railway Construction Bridge Bureau undertakes, with a total length of about 2006 meters, a total of 344 design pile foundations, 27 bearing caps, and 27 pier platforms. The bridge has crossed rural roads, provincial roads and other structures for many times, and the superstructure is mostly a continuous rigid bridge. The main bridge is designed as a concrete continuous rigid frame bridge with a span of (92 + 3×168 + 92) meters, and the drilling is the No. 9 pier, with a height of 165 meters, which is the highest continuous rigid bridge pier in China's high-speed railway with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour.

The construction adopts the domestic advanced XCMG XR1600E large-scale rotary drilling rig for pile foundation construction, the design diameter of the pile foundation is 2.80 meters, and the pile length is 30.5 meters. Due to the complex geological conditions of the bridge, before construction, the project team attaches great importance to the scientific research and judgment of the geological conditions, optimizes the construction plan, and reasonably selects the construction technology and equipment.

Yifu high-speed railway is an important part of China's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail network along the river, the line starts from the Yichang North Station of the Wuhan-Yichang section of the high-speed railway along the Yangtze River under construction, and goes west through Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Shizhu County, Fengdu County, Fuling District of Chongqing City, and connects to Changshou North Station of Zhengyu High-speed Railway.
