Recently, another important node of the Xi'an-Ankang high-speed railway: Zhen'an West Station, officially kicked off the construction of this section of the high-speed railway with an impressive design speed of 350 km/h, showing its extraordinary potential as a modern transportation artery.
Xikang high-speed railway, as a key part of the eight vertical and eight horizontal high-speed rail backbone network in the national railway network blueprint, especially the important intersection of the Bao (Yin) sea channel and the Beijing-Kunming channel, its new main line is about 171 kilometers long, aiming to create an efficient and fast railway channel. The line is cleverly planned, starting from the southern end of Xi'an East Railway Station, winding out, crossing the blue waves of the Chanhe River, crossing the majestic Qinling Mountains, passing through the beautiful scenery of Zhashui, Zhen'an and Xunyang, and finally seamlessly connecting with Ankang West Railway Station, building a convenient passage connecting the ancient city of Xi'an and Ankang, the pearl of southern Shaanxi.
Along the way, the Xikang high-speed railway has carefully laid out six stations, namely Xi'an East Railway Station, Taihe Station, Zhashui West Station, Zhen'an West Station, Tongmu Station and Ankang West Station, which not only provide passengers with convenient boarding and disembarkation services, but also become a new engine to promote the economic and social development of the regions along the line.
The start of construction of Zhen'an West Railway Station marks another solid step forward for the Xikang high-speed rail project, indicating that the people of the two places will enjoy a faster and more comfortable travel experience in the future, and will also further promote the economic and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Xi'an and Ankang and the regions along the line, and inject new and strong impetus into the coordinated development of the region.Editor/Jiang Mingyue
