On February 5, 2025, the National Development and Reform Commission recently issued the "National Logistics Hub Layout Optimization and Adjustment Plan". Adhering to the principle of "combining reality, dynamic adjustment, and both progress and retreat", the plan adds 26 national logistics hubs such as Langfang commercial and trade service type and Changzhou production service type, and optimizes the planning and layout of some hubs. In addition, the plan also puts forward requirements for high-quality promotion of the construction of the national logistics hub network from four aspects: systematic promotion of hub construction and functional improvement; Improve the collection and distribution system; Establish a sound mechanism for cooperation between hubs; Explore a new model of collaborative development between industrial clusters and logistics hubs.

The National Development and Reform Commission pointed out that as a key logistics resource allocation and activity organization center, the national logistics hub is an important focus on reducing the logistics costs of the whole society, and plays an indispensable role in integrating various logistics resources and promoting regional economic development.

It is reported that the 26 newly added national logistics hubs are all located in key positions such as the "four horizontal and five vertical, two along and ten corridor" logistics corridor and the "ten vertical and ten horizontal" comprehensive transportation corridor, with nearly 60% of them located in the central and western regions. This measure will effectively enhance the support and guarantee capabilities for the implementation of major national strategies. At the same time, production service and commercial service hubs closely related to regional industrial development and consumption account for over 40%, which can effectively help relevant cities explore the coordinated development model of "industrial clusters+logistics hubs" and cultivate new economic development momentum.

After the optimization and adjustment of the national logistics hub layout, the number of cities supported by national logistics hubs has reached 152, and 229 national logistics hubs have been laid out and constructed (the National Development and Reform Commission has led the list of 151 national logistics hubs in 6 batches for key construction). This not only further enhances the balanced development level of the national logistics hub network, improves the modern logistics operation system of "channel+hub+network", but also better connects the national logistics corridor, comprehensive transportation corridor, as well as important railway logistics bases, inland ports and other key logistics nodes, greatly improving the overall logistics operation efficiency and service quality. In addition, basic coverage or effective radiation has been achieved for cities with a gross domestic product of over 400 billion yuan, strengthening the support and guarantee role for regional economic and industrial transformation and upgrading.
