The Yakong Light Rail Bridge is located within Yakong Park, and the construction area is densely populated with trees, streetlights, and other municipal facilities, which limits the working space. This cross river lifting project requires the installation of 6 double T-shaped prefabricated beams on the 55 meter wide Yakong River, each beam is 31 meters long and weighs 72 tons, with a lifting height of 35 meters. After multiple rounds of scheme verification, the project team ultimately adopted a dual machine lifting construction plan, successfully overcoming the limitations of water environment and site conditions.

This lifting operation involves the nighttime closure construction of the Rokaqi Municipal Avenue, and it is during the flood season and rainy season. The continuous rainfall has caused turbulent water flow in the river, further increasing the difficulty of construction. The project team completed the road closure, beam transportation, and nighttime construction permit approval three months in advance, and conducted multiple rounds of desktop simulations with the traffic management department, police station, and river management bureau to continuously optimize the details of the construction plan.

On February 24th, two 550 ton cranes successfully completed on-site assembly. After two consecutive night construction windows, the lifting task of six prefabricated beams across the river section was successfully completed. As of now, the Yakong Light Rail Bridge in the G3-4 section of the Green Line Light Rail has completed the hoisting of 100 prefabricated beams, with a construction progress of over 90% and a completion rate of 93% for the entire bridge.

The G3-4 section of the Tel Aviv Green Line Light Rail is one of the key projects in Israel's 2030 National Transportation Plan, constructed by China Electric Power Construction Corporation. The total length of this section is 820 meters, including a light rail mainline bridge and a ground station with a building area of 2400 square meters. The Yakon Light Rail Bridge, as an important control project of the Green Line Light Rail, is designed to balance environmental protection and aesthetics. After completion, it will become a new landmark building in Tel Aviv.

The project team of Hydroelectricity Bureau 5 will continue to adhere to the principle of "quality first, safety first", fully promote the construction progress, strive to achieve full line connection as soon as possible, and contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to the development of Israel's urban rail transit(This article is from the official website of Jian Dao www.seetao.com.
