On April 1st, a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement was held at the headquarters of the Vietnam Electricity Group in Hanoi, Vietnam. A delegation led by Luo Bixiong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Power Engineering Consulting Group of China Energy Engineering Group, met with a delegation led by Dang Hoang Anh, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Group. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Manager of the Vietnam Electricity Group, witnessed the signing.

Dang Hoang Anh expressed his excitement about the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Vietnam Electricity Group and China Power Engineering Consulting Group. He emphasized that the signing of this cooperation agreement is of great and far-reaching significance. The Vietnamese government is preparing to release a supplementary plan for the Eighth Power Development Plan. In the future, it will focus on the development of renewable energy and clean energy, and give priority to the development of nuclear power.
