On April 3, 2025, the EPC engineering general contracting results of Gansu Jintong Xiongguan International Logistics Park Co., Ltd.'s railway dedicated line project were announced. The consortium formed by China Railway First Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group Co., Ltd. has successfully won the bid, with a total investment of about 1 billion yuan, marking that this important logistics infrastructure project in the northwest region is about to enter the implementation stage.

The project is located in Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. The line connects directly from the under construction Jiayuguan Station to the yard, and new facilities such as arrival and departure yards, loading and unloading operation yards, evacuation lines, and environmental protection shelters will be built. The total construction period is 609 days, and it is planned to start in May 2025 and be completed in December 2026. The project adopts the EPC general contracting mode, covering the entire chain of survey and design, construction and maintenance services. The main technical standards include single line design, 40km/h operating speed, 4500 tons of traction quality, etc. After completion, it will significantly improve the local logistics transportation efficiency.

As a transportation supporting project for an important node city of the the Belt and Road, the project is of strategic significance to improve the multimodal transport system of Jiayuguan and reduce the logistics costs of enterprises.
